In VirtualBox Manager, create a new virtual machine. Assign 512MB of RAM, a new dynamically grown 16GB hard drive. Disable floppy and audio, we won't need that. We can leave the display settings on defaults. The networking needs to be set to bridged adapter.

On first start, the start disk will be queried.
